complies with internal regulations and established a control protocol<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Internal Auditor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that the Academy complies with internal regulations and established control protocol Collect and analyze data to detect weak controls, duplicated efforts, waste, fraud, or non-compliance with taws, regulations, and management policies<\/li>\n<li>Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency. effectiveness and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the Academy facilities to ensure their safety, security, and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile documentation with actual inventory or assets to ascertain the accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings with individuals and departments to update auditees on findings and the audit process<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports and preserves documentation about audits for internal record<\/li>\n<li>Present summarised findings concerning audit results and trends for internal groups<\/li>\n<li>Analyze audit results to determine methods for improving performance<\/li>\n<li>Maio recommendations for the best ways for the Academy to reduce waste<\/li>\n<li>Assess best financial practices for the Academy and make relevant, informed suggestions<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date on audit procedures and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Develop audit plans and performs initial and follow-up audits Following professional standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate audit findings, prepare\u00a0<em>and\u00a0<\/em>present results of audit work and recommendations to management<\/li>\n<li>Establish exemplary relationships with personnel in all departments<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duty assigned by the Executive Secretary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masters in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with Auditing experience<\/li>\n<li>Must have at least five years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>3 Good attention to detail and excellent analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Good organization and time-keeping skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think objectively, assess and evaluate risk, and implement solutions<\/li>\n<li>Excellent reporting skills<\/li>\n<li>Accounting software skills<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office Suite software skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze and solve problems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively communicate accounting information, policies, and\/or procedures in a manner easily understood by the customer<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze\u00a0processes and make recommendations for
