Finance Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location: Accra<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DML is currently looking for an\u00a0<strong>Asst.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Finance Manager<\/strong>\u00a0who will assist the Finance Manager to direct and oversee the financial activities of the\u00a0company ,\u00a0direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth with a good verbal and written communication skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REPORTS TO:\u00a0 FINANCE MANAGER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Asst. Finance Manager:<\/p>\n<p>Duties\/Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists in providing technical supervision and oversight of the finance department<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Project-related records correctly\u00a0in our accounting systems.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Providing Project managers and clients with timely financial reports and budgets<\/li>\n<li>To lead in trial balance and general ledger reconciliations of the company<\/li>\n<li>Verify the completeness of all documents prior to payment of all bills to vendors, consultants , etc<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the stores and warehouse<\/li>\n<li>Review, audit and sign off weekly time sheets and present same to HCM for payroll preparation<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation and retirement of all project expenses and \u00a0imprest<\/li>\n<li>Issuing debit notes, credit notes and reconciliation of inter-company transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of periodic management reports\/Accounts and a detail \u00a0variance analyses with commentaries.<\/li>\n<li>Submission of month end financial reports to the Finance Manager.<\/li>\n<li>maintenance of Fixed Assets Register<\/li>\n<li>Ensure filing of all statutory returns such as P.A.Y.E, Pension funds, Annual Returns and taxes<\/li>\n<li>Supervision and review of monthly bank reconciliation statements.<\/li>\n<li>Lead in monthly payroll reconciliations and payroll ledger maintenance in the accounting system.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a good working relationship with finance key stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties that may be assigned to you by Management from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>JOB SPECIFICATION<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or\u00a0<strong>Commerce<\/strong>\u00a0is required.<\/li>\n<li>Member of a professional\u00a0accounting body preferably ICA (GH), ACCA or<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five (5) years relevant experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of accounting systems.<\/li>\n<li>A trustworthy person.<\/li>\n<li>Well organized individual who is able to multitask.<\/li>\n<li>Good leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excel and big data analysis skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in the use of an ERP software will be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit application and curriculum vitae to the under listed email address<\/p>\n<p>To:\u00a0<strong>career@dmlghana.com<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DML is a market leader in dredging and has a sizable presence in Marine and Civil Construction.
