The Institute of Accountancy Training (IAT), under the Ministry of Finance was established in 1970 to provide in-service training in Public Administration, Public Sector Accounting and Public Sector Financial Management for the Ministry\u2019s as well as the civil and the public services\u2019 staffs.<\/p>\n
The Institute, currently undergoing restructuring needs to strengthen its administrative structure to help implement the reforms. Applications are therefore invited from qualified officers for the following vacancy:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Coordinate the design and development of procedures, standards and guidelines to support the implementation of IT systems within the Institute
\n\u2022 Recommend technical specifications for the requisitioning, procurement and the development of the equipment, software resources and other IT systems for the Institute
\n\u2022 Coordinate the development and implementation of the capacity development plans in the area of IT in the Institute
\n\u2022 Lead the design, development and deployment of specified IT projects for the Institute
\n\u2022 Coordinate the design and implementation of security measures to protect the IT installation, infrastructure and systems of the Institute.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Must have completed statutory National Service
\n\u2022 Must pass a competitive selection interview<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ability to perform risk impact assessment of IT infrastructure
\n\u2022 Policy formulation and analysis skills
\n\u2022 Monitoring and evaluation skills
\n\u2022 Ability to write talking points\/ briefing notes
\n\u2022 Facilitation skills
\n\u2022 Strategic HRM
\n\u2022 Decision making and problem-solving ability<\/p>\n
