Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Senior Back-End Engineer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n We are looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer responsible for managing the interchange of data between servers and front-end interfaces. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well<\/p>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging<\/p>\n 2. Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic<\/p>\n 3. Build reusable code and libraries for future use<\/p>\n 4. Optimise the application for maximum speed and scalability<\/p>\n 5. Implement security and data protection solutions<\/p>\n 6. Design and implement data storage solutions<\/p>\n 7. Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features<\/p>\n Skills and Qualifications<\/p>\n 1. 3+ years working experience in Back-End Development<\/p>\n 2. Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)<\/p>\n 3. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)<\/p>\n 4. Proficient knowledge of PHP<\/p>\n 5. Hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby and Python is an advantage<\/p>\n 6. Working knowledge of CMS framework<\/p>\n 7. Excellent analytical and time management skills<\/p>\n 8. Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude<\/p>\n 9.
