This will involve travels within and outside Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Audit Lead in scoping the audit where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Write high quality audit observations and support the Audit Lead in writing the report<\/li>\n<li>Provide suggestions to management for actions to address control issues identified<\/li>\n<li>Discuss and agree the factual accuracy of audit observations with stakeholders\/Audit Lead as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Update the Audit Lead and audit team with progress and observations<\/li>\n<li>Proactively take on additional tasks as will be assigned by the Chief Internal Auditor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Practical understanding of relevant regulatory environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify, assess &amp; document risks and controls<\/li>\n<li>Ability to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls &amp; document this understanding in the relevant audit toolkit<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of five years experience in banking or five years professional external audit practice experience<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional Qualification:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional qualification in accountancy (ACCA, ICA, CIMA, ICAEW), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply, please visit Barclays Careers website at:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.barclaysafricajobs.com\/\">www.barclaysafricajobs.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Closing 11th November, 2011<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job vacancy: Manager, Barclays Internal Audit We are seeking to recruit an experienced professional with the determination to deliver a first class service in Barclays Internal Audit (BIA)\u00a0Unit.
