{"id":61876,"date":"2021-10-18T13:32:43","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T13:32:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=61876"},"modified":"2021-10-18T13:32:43","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T13:32:43","slug":"petroplan-jobs-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/petroplan-jobs-2021.html","title":{"rendered":"Petroplan Jobs 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Wellsite Geologist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Requirement Scope<\/p>\n<p>* Onshore well experience highly preferred.<br \/>\n* Relevant pore pressure experience required.<br \/>\n* Experience in Africa a preference.<br \/>\n* Deepwater offshore experience required.<br \/>\n* Very experienced at shows identification-description, gas analysis, formation top picking, lithology, preparation, use of GEO and\/or Gravitas, picking casing points, assisting in geomechanically assessments.<br \/>\n* Expert at monitoring operations \u2013 mud logging, wireline logging, sampling, logistics, reporting to<br \/>\n* Ops Geologist and concise communication-updates, liaison with drilling, operational day-to-day updates.<br \/>\n* Making sure operational delivery consistent with government regulations (and partner expectations).<br \/>\n* Interface with logging, mud logging, and wireline witness and wellsite geology contractors.<br \/>\n* Liaise with operations geologists and drilling team for morning, afternoon and ad hoc updates<br \/>\n* Coordinate mud logging crew-team.<br \/>\n* Available 24 hours a day if operational requirements dictate (logging-coring-ops issues).<br \/>\n* Prepare daily geological reports.<br \/>\n* Helping coordinate wireline logging where required.<br \/>\n* Attending morning update call with Operations Geology.<br \/>\n* Coordinate contract wash-up meetings on wireline logging, LWD logging and mud logging.<br \/>\n* Ensuring G&amp;G operational requirements are met at Wellsite.<br \/>\n* May be required to show around nationals and\/or the regulator on the rig site -demonstrating good wellsite geology practices.<\/p>\n<p>About Petroplan<\/p>\n<p>Petroplan is the trusted, specialist global Talent Solutions partner of choice for employers and professionals in the Energy sector.
