{"id":61884,"date":"2021-10-18T13:10:10","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T13:10:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=61884"},"modified":"2021-10-18T13:10:10","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T13:10:10","slug":"unilever-vacancies-2021-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/unilever-vacancies-2021-3.html","title":{"rendered":"Unilever Vacancies 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Effective Liquidity and foreign exchange operations management are critical to ensure the safeguard of Unilever\u2019s financial assets and reduction in finance cost.<\/p>\n<p>This role is involved in the Treasury operations for Unilever Ghana and the role is to oversee the day-to-day Treasury and commodity hedging operations and be the lead for upcoming Treasury projects.<\/p>\n<p>The role will focus on managing the Liquidity and Foreign exchange requirements for the business in addition to running the back office operations.<\/p>\n<p>Reduction of finance cost and exchange rate exposure is key in ensuring a profitable business and this role will be performed by treasury manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Treasury Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Banking<\/li>\n<li>Lead and work with Regional \/ Global Treasury to ensure adequate facilities are available to meet existing and future business funds requirements<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain effective operational network with key Banks\/Financial Institutions to ensure smooth operations and harness opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for administer role for Bank related systems<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate and ensure documentation in place to transact with Banks (facilities letter, documentation, director\u2019s resolution etc)<\/li>\n<li>Financial Accounting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ensure accurate and timely internal reporting for both statutory and internal reporting of the Treasury function. These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing CapGemini (offshore Accounts team) for Treasury outsourced activities.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing journals on Interest charges, bank charges, Unilever Finance International (UFI) sweep and fund transactions, Loans, FX differences arising out of settled FX contracts, settlement of payments and collections, revaluation &amp; mark to market on open FX contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Analysing and ensuring timely completion of Treasury reports (FX exposures, currency trends, Cash Forecast, actual cash flows; hedging requirements, Working Capital Management Report).<\/li>\n<li>Liquidity Management<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Unilever\u2019s financial assets are safe guarded with proper planning of short-, medium- and long-term cash requirements. This includes funding requirements and maximizing long term returns on excess liquidity.<\/li>\n<li>Forecast day-to-day cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for cost savings or increase returns on excess cash.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews company\u2019s cash forecast and performs an analysis on the projected vs. reported cash holdings.<\/li>\n<li>Exposures management<\/li>\n<li>Mitigates financial risks related to the interest rates on the foreign exchange positions.<\/li>\n<li>Propose Forex strategies and exposure limits incorporating market insights on Forex trends into hedging decisions working closely with Global Treasury team<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement full end to end (process design, systems, accounting treatments) solutions for back office operations on new commodities and instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Governance, Compliance &amp; Documentation<\/li>\n<li>Maintains policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures all transactions are completed in accordance with the Schedule of Authorities and are properly documented.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the Treasury Policy compliance and observing Forex limits<\/li>\n<li>Establish and report treasury KPIs<\/li>\n<li>Commodity Risk Management<\/li>\n<li>Stabilising the existing back office operations and setup new commodities for the back office operations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance and controls are in placed in the back office operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong SAP Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel spreadsheet skills<\/li>\n<li>Graduate calibre candidate who is CIMA\/ACCA\/ICAN certified.<\/li>\n<li>Confident communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Relevant Experience<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>Treasury Management<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years work experience with at least 2 spent as a team lead<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
