Job Title:\u00a0Senior HR Officer (Talent Acquisition and Performance Management)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 To plan and implement MGBL\u2019s talent acquisition as well as talent & performance management strategy<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Research, analyse and present data to support the development fo strategies and initiatives such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, on-boarding, learning and development, performance management and succession planning
\n\u2022 Work closely with heads of department to build their people capability, plan and manage talent and develop approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives
\n\u2022 Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing\u2019s needs in different areas and departments
\n\u2022 Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff
\n\u2022 Work with HR superintendent to create job descriptions and vacancy notices
\n\u2022 Source applicants internally and\/or externally
\n\u2022 Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates
\n\u2022 Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews if possible.
\n\u2022 Assess candidates information, including C.V.s portfolios and references
\n\u2022 Co-ordinates the requires medicals and background checks for new hires employees
\n\u2022 Plan, organise and facilitate onboarding sessions for new employees
\n\u2022 Deal with the administrative aspects for employees separating from the company
\n\u2022 Responsible for management and maintenance of employee data
\n\u2022 Pro-actively lead activities arounds performance planning and evaluation including, performance management mediation.
\n\u2022 Plan, coordinate and manage the performance review and assessment process for all employees
\n\u2022 Provide communication material and design campaigns around performance management
\n\u2022 In consultation with Heads of Department, conduct assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies and behaviours required to achieve organisational results and prepare for future needs
\n\u2022 Plan and organise all training sessions both onsite and offsite
\n\u2022 Gather and analyse data on participants evaluations for learning and development activities
\n\u2022 Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure learning outcomes are implemented
\n\u2022 Pro-actively shape the organisations approach to career development
\n\u2022 Design, implements and oversees programs aimed to support the career development of employees
\n\u2022 Closely works with relevant stakeholders to ensure career development tools\/practices are aligned with organisational needs<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management or similar discipline
\n\u2022 At least 3 years relevant work experience in same or similar role and proven success in previous positions
\n\u2022 Work experience in the Mining industry in added advantage
\n\u2022 Professional certification in Human Resources in desirable<\/p>\n

Required Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Familiarity with the application of the Labour Act of Ghana and all other employment laws and its corresponding is in the workplace
\n\u2022 Demonstrate experience in talent acquisition, talent and performance management, compensation and development, estate management and HRIS as well as creating of policies and procedures
\n\u2022 Experience in managing HR projects such as implementation of performance management systems etc
\n\u2022 High regard for ethical standards in the working environment
\n\u2022 Ability to build and sustain network
\n\u2022 In-depth knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques
\n\u2022 Should have human resource planning skills
\n\u2022 Should be conversant with HR software for managing recruitment and employees performance
\n\u2022 Must have excellent communication skills
\n\u2022 Must have a strong interpersonal skills
\n\u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 Good planning and social skills
\n\u2022 Ability to deal with people sensitively and professionally at all times
\n\u2022 Ability to lead change
\n\u2022 Must demonstrate positive safety behaviour and leadership
\n\u2022 Must have high regard for confidentiality, availability and integrity of information<\/p>\n
