Be confident with a thorough knowledge of kitchen management and developing staff.\u00a0The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role as well as a real passion for food.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Decide the menus and the frequency in which the menu changes<\/li>\n<li>Establish good relationships with suppliers to ensure better discounts and contract terms<\/li>\n<li>Train and manage kitchen personnel<\/li>\n<li>Supervise\/coordinate all related culinary activities<\/li>\n<li>Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food<\/li>\n<li>Select and develop recipes<\/li>\n<li>Establish presentation technique and quality standards<\/li>\n<li>Plan and price menus<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper equipment operation\/maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Ideally possess a bachelor\u2019s degree or related culinary degree<\/li>\n<li>8 or more years of industry and culinary management experience<\/li>\n<li>Ideally have some start up experience<\/li>\n<li>Ideally have worked within a luxury 5* hotel<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and staff<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Respond effectively to changing trends and customers\u2019 tastes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send CV to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@villamonticello.com\">hr@villamonticello.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Closing\u00a030 Nov, 2011<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Executive Chef vacancy We are looking for an Executive Chef to take full responsibility for the hotel\u2019s private functions, events, restaurant and room service.
