{"id":63053,"date":"2021-11-26T16:51:18","date_gmt":"2021-11-26T16:51:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=63053"},"modified":"2021-11-26T16:51:18","modified_gmt":"2021-11-26T16:51:18","slug":"ernst-young-jobs-2021-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/ernst-young-jobs-2021-5.html","title":{"rendered":"Ernst &#038; Young Jobs 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a FAAS Senior, you will combine technical accounting skills in IFRS\/IPSAS, practical experience in financial reporting and deep sector knowledge in supporting our clients directly and indirectly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: FAAS Senior\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advising clients on the application of new and existing IFRS accounting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Assessing the impact of recently adopted accounting standards (primarily IFRS 9, IFRS 10, IFRS 11, IFRS 15, IFRS 16 and IFRS 17)<\/li>\n<li>Focus on the application of technical accounting in particular accounting policy conversions and GAAP analysis, preparation of financial statements, implementation support for new standards and training<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical accounting support to other Service lines in EY.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and deliver training on technical accounting to both clients and internal teams.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in performing IFRS analysis procedures, especially focusing on complex and\/or specialized issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your People Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willing to learn and be enthusiastic about a career in FAAS<\/li>\n<li>Work constructively as a team member<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills and business acumen<\/li>\n<li>Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified accountant (CA\/ ACCA).<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English<\/li>\n<li>High level of motivation and drive to pursue a career in professional services.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to build strong client relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated analytical ability and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical accounting experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Skills<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)<\/li>\n<li>Basic quantitative skills<\/li>\n<li>Continuous learner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We offer you<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with a bright, friendly and energetic team<\/li>\n<li>Develop your personal and business skills by working on challenging projects with some of the most well-known companies as well as through our extensive learning and development programs<\/li>\n<li>Receive a competitive remuneration package<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a FAAS Senior, you will combine technical accounting skills in IFRS\/IPSAS, practical experience in financial reporting and deep sector knowledge in supporting our clients directly and indirectly.
