The successful applicant will be responsible for development, management and implementation of Gold Fields Ghana communications programme in support of the organisation&#8217;s business objectives and vision. He\/she will assist in the development of communications strategy that will drive excellent corporate communications, promote and protect the corporate image and reputation of Goldfields and help it deliver on its goals.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the development of communication strategy that will drive excellent corporate communications<\/li>\n<li>Promote and protect the corporate image and reputation of Goldfields and help it deliver on its goals<\/li>\n<li>Manage key internal and external stakeholders integrated within business plan<\/li>\n<li>Develop, plan and lead communication of major Goldfields programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>An attractive package is available to the right applicant<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BA degree qualification from an accredited institution in the Social Sciences, post graduate qualification in communication studies would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>At least five years experience in strategic communication\/PR relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in communications and communication strategy development<\/li>\n<li>Capable of leading the communications planning process and facilitating broader involvement in this process<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to prepare, and deliver impactful presentations<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate initiative, and be self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Well developed oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Strong a interpersonal and organizational skills, Medical fitness for the position and environment<\/li>\n<li>A valid and current light duty vehicle license and proficiency in driving light vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Be the point of contact for all Gold Fields Ghana intranet, website, newsletter coordination and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Liaise between Accra office and the operations in collating unique feedback and news items to be shared with the wider Gold Fields Group<\/li>\n<li>Be an active member of crisis teams, thus ensuring communications plans are up to date<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely circulation of all relevant industry information\/data to relevant persons &amp; groups within Gold Fields Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Ensure strict compliance and consistency of all corporate branded materials<\/li>\n<li>Manage communication budget in an efficient and cost-effective manner to ensure delivery against plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>It will be advantageous if applicants have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposure to influencing at senior management level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested parties should submit their Curriculum Vitae to:<\/p>\n<div><strong>Gladys Damarlie &#8211; Human Resources Officer<br \/>\nTarkwa Gold Mine<br \/>\nP.
