This will include but not limited to stakeholder engagement, co-ordination with other functions, project risk management, contractor management, site safety, budget management, installation, commissioning and technology transfer.<\/p>\n<p>The role will cover various aspects of civils, mechanical, electrical and process engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Reports to the Site Leader.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Projects and Engineering Service Manager West Africa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On Time In Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Unilever standards and ensuring safety as number one priority.<\/li>\n<li>Single point of contact for site projects<\/li>\n<li>Manage stakeholders and project sponsors (local, regional and global \u2013 SC and other)<\/li>\n<li>Development and maintenance of good OPCO Customer relationships<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Design and Capability Engineers and R&amp;D to develop Concept, FEED and Detailed Designs to meet the business need inputting local requirements and constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Develop overall Project Execution Plan and schedules<\/li>\n<li>Execute projects ensuring adherence to schedule, budget.<\/li>\n<li>Manage site construction and contractors ensuring Unilever Construction Standards are applied.<\/li>\n<li>Manage full equipment installation and co-ordinate commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure development of standards, maintenance plans and identification of critical spares<\/li>\n<li>Document project through Unilever internal project management systems<\/li>\n<li>Support technical transfer \u2013 collation and delivery (if required) of training material<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for managing completion of snag list and handover to factory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Outputs \/ performance Metrics<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OTIF delivery of Project \/ Project Portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to Cost\/Budget forecast<\/li>\n<li>Safety: Zero accident<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Project Management experience in an FMCG environment<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years of work experience in execution of capital expenditure project of considerable size (&gt;\u20ac3m)<\/li>\n<li>Factory operational or engineering experience is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
