The intervention<br \/>\nof areas of the Sustainable Economic Development in Ghana (PSED) program: Support to the reform in the Technical Vocational Training<br \/>\nsector (TVET), Financial System Development (FSD), implementation of Migration and Employment Promotion (MEP) and support for digitization (DIGIT) contribute to this endeavor by improving the conditions for creation of decent and productive employment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 As a driver, you will be responsible for safely performing all official travel using official vehicles and regularly servicing and taking good care of official vehicles<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Provides passenger transport and run errands in an official car for office, project or programme staff, official visitors and<br \/>\nguests.<br \/>\n\u2022 Helps with transporting goods.<br \/>\n\u2022 Completes the vehicle and maintenance log correctly and conscientiously in accordance with GIZ standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensures the interior and exterior of the vehicle(s) is always clean.<br \/>\n\u2022 Reports need for service and carries out minor repairs.<br \/>\n\u2022 Immediately reports all involvement of the project or office vehicle in accidents, including minor accidents, damage, loss or theft of vehicle fittings.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assists other colleagues as needed in the project, programme or office if there is no travel or chauffeur service pending, carries<br \/>\nout other office work on request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Secondary school education<br \/>\n\u2022 Holds a valid driver\u2019s licence D.<br \/>\n\u2022 At least 1-3 years\u2019 work experience as a driver with references<br \/>\n\u2022 2-3 years\u2019 professional experience in a comparative role<br \/>\n\u2022 No major accidents in the past 3 years<br \/>\n\u2022 Good knowledge of the English language<br \/>\n\u2022 Familiarity with Ghana and the districts and regional capitals<br \/>\n\u2022 Appropriate appearance and attire (possibly uniform, friendly manner with all passengers)<br \/>\n\u2022 Always ensures unrestricted availability of vehicles and reports restrictions immediately.<br \/>\n\u2022 Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed \u2013 corresponding measures are agreed with management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Accra<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and suitable applicants are to forward their detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a one-page cover letter to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>hr-ghana@giz.de<\/strong>\u00a0under the\u00a0<strong>Job Code 2021\/SIJobs\/12\/01<\/strong>.
