Their ethos is to hire exceptional talent which will allow the business to grow and prosper.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Compliance Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary And Benefits<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary to be negotiated<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive benefits package<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Role<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure profitable results for designated class(es) for the unit by applying underwriting philosophy and strategies<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical underwriting excellence for designated unit(s) and intermediaries<\/li>\n<li>Maintain underwriting standards within class\/business unit to meet the business plan measures<\/li>\n<li>Participating in underwriting audits (with own and other units) and taking measures to strengthen rating and underwriting standards as a whole<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate the most complex risks<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with risk management measures Implement local underwriting strategy<\/li>\n<li>Provide Coaching advice and training for staff<\/li>\n<li>Maintain effective internal\/external liaison and develop and manage external business relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full working knowledge of GI products, with exposure to Property Owners would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of trends\/patterns within Finance and Insurance sectors<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of the local Insurance market<\/li>\n<li>In depth knowledge of Risk Management and Risk Management solutions<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of product underwriting strategy<\/li>\n<li>Broad business perspective\/acumen<\/li>\n<li>In depth knowledge of R\/I philosophy and how to apply\/maintain it<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the insurance market, industry trends, developments and changes in legislation<\/li>\n<li>Experience of developing internal and external relationships<\/li>\n<li>Experience of negotiating complex risks<\/li>\n<li>Strong influencing, negotiating, presentation and strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>ACII or degree (or equivalent) is desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills Provision is an ethical international recruitment agency, as such our adverts do not discriminate with regards to age, race, gender, colour, creed, religion, sexual orientation, disability and nationality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is a mainstream financial organisation covering Ghana and other regions in Africa.
