{"id":63403,"date":"2021-12-08T09:05:10","date_gmt":"2021-12-08T09:05:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=63403"},"modified":"2021-12-08T09:05:10","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T09:05:10","slug":"anglogold-ashanti-limited-vacancies-2021-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/anglogold-ashanti-limited-vacancies-2021-6.html","title":{"rendered":"AngloGold Ashanti Limited Vacancies 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (IDUAPRIEM) LIMITED (A subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti Limited)\u00a0<\/b>operate the combine Teberebie and Iduapriem open-pits gold mines at Tarkwa in the Western Region of Ghana and has a work force of over 1400, including contractors.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from ambitious, energetic and performance driven individuals to fill in a vacant position(s) mentioned below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position: Senior Supervisor \u2013 Production \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Grade: R3<\/p>\n<p>Department: Processing<\/p>\n<p>Number of Position(s): One (1)<\/p>\n<p><b>Role Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Senior Supervisor \u2013 Production among other duties will be accountable for leading the shift team to ensure safe and effective running of the various unit operations such as milling circuit, gravity circuit, thickeners, elution, and CIP.<\/p>\n<p><b>Role Accountabilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain a safe workplace within the department as well as ensure compliance to all site policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>High Security Consciousness<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the various KPI\u2019s (mill throughput (720tph wet), milling efficiency (95% utilization), cyclone efficiencies (65% passing 106\u00b5m), recovery (96%), 14 elution strips per week) at a given mill availability are achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot problems that hinder production.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance to ICMI code, ISO 45001:2018 in the plant and maintain the highest standards in terms of safety<\/li>\n<li>Check and monitor the use of required reagent addition rates as determined by the metallurgical technical team to ensure maximum plant recovery and reagent optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate in depth knowledge in a CIP\/CIL operation utilizing SAG &amp; Ball mills<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all mills run within the required set parameters (power and weight) for optimum operations.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the reviewing of safe work procedures and ensure all work is done per the available procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in all meetings with engineering and production to ensure co-ordination of production activities between operators and maintenance in a timely manner to ensure maximum plant utilization.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the process control group with regards to operational changes and troubleshooting of circuit deficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Implement improvement ideas that ensure continuous improvements of our operations in terms of safe, production and cost.<\/li>\n<li>Review shift report on occurrences during the shift to ensure all down times are captured and initiate actions to correct all deviation.
