Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title: Fisheries Programme Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This role offers an unusual level of career development for the right person looking to excel and make a strong impact in both protecting Ghana\u2019s fisheries sector and managing a growing set of projects and partnerships. It will entail travel within Ghana, in particular to Accra and other coastal areas.<\/p>\n

Working closely with EJF\u2019s senior management to manage the team in Ghana, liaising with our Ghanaian partners and reporting to EJF\u2019s CEO, your role will be key to the delivery of EJF\u2019s goals in the country on time and within budget.<\/p>\n

You will help mentor local staff and oversee their work according to agreed key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure highly cost-effective and efficient project implementation.<\/p>\n

You will support extensive engagement with local partners and government agencies, and ensure effective project outreach including through local and national media, and social media platforms.<\/p>\n

Your role will cross sectors and skill-sets, including research and field investigations, through to capacity-building (video, vessel monitoring); outreach and advocacy.<\/p>\n

You will work closely with EJF\u2019s film unit, communications team and other colleagues based in London and globally and provide highly detailed regular reporting to the CEO and Senior Management Team.<\/p>\n
