Its task is to recommend reforms to simplify and update laws to reflect the changing needs of society.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><em>The Commission requires the services of lawyers to perform the following duties:<\/p>\n<p><\/em><strong>Core Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out research and prepare working papers, memoranda, studies and reports for consideration of the Commission<\/li>\n<li>Provide legal advice and information on a broad range of legal issues<\/li>\n<li>Provide information to outside agencies<\/li>\n<li>Processing proposals for the development of the law<\/li>\n<li>Carry &#8216;out any other assignments that will be given from time-to-time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate a high sense of initiative and drive in the core duty of research<\/li>\n<li>A great team player, objective and diligent<\/li>\n<li>Good reporting and research writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with little supervision<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use the computer effectively<\/li>\n<li>Ability to research and present reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Qualified applicants should forward their application together with curriculum vitae, copies of relevant certificates, contact telephone numbers, and\/or e-mail address, names and addresses of two referees to:<\/p>\n<div>\n<strong>THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR<br \/>\nLAW REFORM COMMISSION<br \/>\nP.
