Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Data Entry Clerks<\/strong><\/p>\n Specific Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n The successful applicants will be required to perform the following duties among others in the Information and Communication Technology Division (ICTD):<\/p>\n \u2022 Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information. Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Applicants must possess a minimum of WASSCE\/SSSCE\/GBCE\/GCE Ordinary Level with credits in at least five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.<\/p>\n Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Applicants must have at least one (1) year relevant post-qualification experience in a reputable organisation.<\/p>\n Key Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Good interpersonal and communication skills. \n\u2022 Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
\n\u2022 Purge files to eliminate duplication of data.
\n\u2022 Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
\n\u2022 Secure information by completing database backups.
\n\u2022 Key to disk all defective scannable source documents or source input documents not using OMR Technology.
\n\u2022 Assist in query tracing.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A good understanding of data confidentiality issues.
\n\u2022 Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n\u2022 Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software package.
\n\u2022 Proficient in typing.<\/p>\n
