{"id":63983,"date":"2022-01-05T10:20:13","date_gmt":"2022-01-05T10:20:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=63983"},"modified":"2022-01-05T10:20:13","modified_gmt":"2022-01-05T10:20:13","slug":"design-and-technology-institute-jobs-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/design-and-technology-institute-jobs-2022.html","title":{"rendered":"Design and Technology Institute Jobs 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:\u00a0<\/strong>To provide coordination and leadership for the Administration, and Human Resources Management functions of the Institute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Human Resources Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide leadership and coordination in the preparation of the Administration budget and manage the budget within the approved limits.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the availability of all the logistics required for running the Institute.<\/li>\n<li>Create a safe and conducive environment for teaching and learning.<\/li>\n<li>Set objectives for direct reports and monitor and evaluate their performance periodically.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, visits by guest speakers or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of school programs such as:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Safeguarding<\/li>\n<li>Gender programming<\/li>\n<li>Community project<\/li>\n<li>School to work transitions<\/li>\n<li>Workplace experience<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure the efficient running of all Units under jurisdiction namely:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Human Resource<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead in the manpower planning process for the Institute.<\/li>\n<li>Advise the Director of Institute on all HR related matters.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate the development of HR initiatives that enhance staff morale and productivity.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Job Descriptions are prepared for all the positions in the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Advertise vacant positions and facilitate the recruitment of suitable candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain the Institute\u2019s human resources policies and procedures and ensure adherence to the policies.<\/li>\n<li>Build a culture of discipline and execution through the role out of the HR policies<\/li>\n<li>Undertake salary surveys to ensure that the Institute\u2019s compensation and benefits remain competitive.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the annual performance management process for staff and faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the identification of administrative staff and faculty training needs in conjunction with Department heads.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and lead professional development activities for staff and faculty. .<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the health and safety of students, staff and faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the appropriate grievance handling and disciplinary procedures are in place.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stores<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that all frequently used items are well stocked throughout the year.<\/li>\n<li>Put in place systems and structures to minimize pilferage and loss at the stores.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Transport<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain inventory of all vehicles of the Institute<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and review all logging activities on the Institute\u2019s vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all Company vehicles are in good shape and go for regular maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Business Administration with HR, a Masters would be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of Eight (8) years\u2019 experience in similar role with at least three years (3) in a management role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JOB PURPOSE:\u00a0To provide coordination and leadership for the Administration, and Human Resources Management functions of the Institute.
