The property has 269 luxury rooms (largest room size in Accra), 24 suites, a variety of F&amp;B offerings as well as large conference facilities and the largest SPA in West Africa (opening soon), a perfect mix of categories to meet the needs of both corporate and conference visitors to the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Barber<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To take 100% responsibility to exceed the guests\u2019 expectations in accordance with Resense\u2019s spa vision, core values and all related brand standards, procedures and policies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide a truly memorable experience for the guest with the highest level of comfort and service, creating a genuine, welcoming, inspiring &amp; safe salon environment for all guests.<\/li>\n<li>To listen, consult with guests and members that accommodate their needs and achieve their goals.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and work effectively with the entire spa team, including spa concierge, stylists, therapists &amp; attendants to ensure a seamless experience for the guests.<\/li>\n<li>Fully support the Spa Manager, Assistant Spa Manager &amp; Salon Manager.<\/li>\n<li>To set an example at all times of the highest standards of professionalism, attitude and appearance.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and implement all Resense Standard Operating Procedures &amp; Policies.<\/li>\n<li>Perform men\u2019s hair care services including cutting, styling, shaving, and facial treatments conditioning treatments.<\/li>\n<li>Promote \/ upsell hair care, skin care to guests as requested. This includes making personal recommendations and softly \u201cupselling\u201d the client.<\/li>\n<li>Clean work area after each service has been performed. Sweeping cut hair up, cleaning the workstation and mirror clean &amp; perform general shop duties.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a neat and professional work area at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain supplies needed at station. Advise salon manager or designate items needing to be purchased.<\/li>\n<li>Unpacking and neatly storing hair, nail and skin care items needed in a neat and orderly fashion.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the co-ordination of salon services with other Spa programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Insure current with trends in barbers industry.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain current professional licenses.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain equipment for Salon operations and personal equipment in safe working order and report and dysfunctional equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure individual is well versed in all aspects of the Spa\u2019s operations, i.e business telephone usage, Guest relations, Spa services (massage, scrub, facial, etc.), Retail sales \u2026<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the operations of all spa departments as required: Fitness, Front Desk\/Receptions, Boutique, S&amp;M.<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures Manual.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the barbers.<\/li>\n<li>To attend weekly\/monthly salon departmental communication meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the\u00a0business and of the hotel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gentlemen\u2019s Hairdressing Certification.<\/li>\n<li>Five (5) years\u2019 experience in an international standard barbers<\/li>\n<li>5 Years in a barber\u2019s environment.<\/li>\n<li>Any additional hair salon skills welcomed.<\/li>\n<li>First Aid and CPR Certificate.<\/li>\n<li>Hair Cutting Skills \u2013 Gentlemen \u2013 Children.<\/li>\n<li>Shaving and Men\u2019s Skin care.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to work shift hours including weekends.<\/li>\n<li>Articulate verbal and written communication.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional Interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated.<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic and Empathetic.<\/li>\n<li>Sales oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Professional presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City \u2013 Accra is the only five-star luxury hotel offering state of the art meeting facilities and services in the city.
