He\/she will be responsible for the processes, formulations, and overall workflow that are essentials in paint manufacturing business to ensure product quality and safety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Production Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Manager\u2019s duties include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing\u00a0paint\u00a0batches.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing raw materials.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting QC tests.<\/li>\n<li>Research and development.<\/li>\n<li>Explore ways to improve products, processes, and equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities &amp; Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently plan and execute laboratory work in support of customers\u2019 requests, new product launches, quality complaints and assessment of competitive materials as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating and ensuring compliance with manufacturing plant\u2019s safety procedures and standards. This includes inspection, audit, training, and accident\/incident reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise daily activities of production area. Co-ordinate work schedules, staff requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity.<\/li>\n<li>Support new product application, equipment, and development.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting malfunctions, and purchasing new laboratory supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Writing technical papers and reports, and preparing standards and specifications for processes, tests, and products.<\/li>\n<li>Assist\/Conduct investigations of product &amp; process problems related to raw materials and procedure upsets.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in implementing strategies and policies, which constantly improve the day-to-day and long-term operation. Provide input into decisions regarding direction, training, goal setting, corrective action, and other administrative functions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Chemistry or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in handling quality control. Performs product testing, evaluation and able to give QC adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with tinting paint and coating applications. Use visual color evaluation techniques, spectrophotometer, and software to verify color accuracy. Interpret data using programs such as Datacolor, X-rite, or BYK-mac i.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in laboratory work and in scientific research and development.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a self-starter, and able to work independently, as well as be a team player.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to direct and motivate employees.<\/li>\n<li>Good presentation, documentation, and reporting skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a dedicated Production Manager in the\u00a0paint industry\u00a0with a minimum experience of 3 years.
