Using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) systems approach, the candidate will be responsible for the continuous improvement requirements of the IMS for the Ahafo Mine and ensure its continued accreditation to ISO 14001 &amp; OHSAS 18001, compliance with International Finance Corporation (IFC) and <a href=\"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/jobs-ghana\/newmont-ghana\">Newmont Standards<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate and competent execution of ISO 14001 &amp; OHSAS 18001 action plans<\/li>\n<li>Develop a site-wide cross-functional contractor audit schedule and monitor its effective implementation in consultation with internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Perform verification of actual completion and close-out of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) from internal cross-functional and third party audits, including ISO\/OHSAS Surveillance audits<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the on-going development of health, safety, environmental and social responsibility standard operating procedures (SOPs), training awareness materials, work plans etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A first degree or Graduate in\u00a0Environmental Sciences, and or Health, Safety and Loss Prevention<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 8 years&#8217; experience in working in health, safety, environment and social systems in the extractive, construction, engineering, etc, industries<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of risk management and loss prevention, environmental impact mitigation best practices and processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be considered for this positions, please send your application letter and current CV with references, indicating your e-mail address, telephone contact information to the address below:<\/p>\n<div><strong>The Human Resource Manager<br \/>\nNewmont Ghana Gold Limited<br \/>\nP.
