{"id":6422,"date":"2011-12-20T08:27:23","date_gmt":"2011-12-20T08:27:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=6422"},"modified":"2016-11-17T09:57:45","modified_gmt":"2016-11-17T09:57:45","slug":"unicef-ghana-recruitment-human-resource-assistant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/unicef-ghana-recruitment-human-resource-assistant.html","title":{"rendered":"Unicef Ghana Recruitment: Human Resource Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><em>Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ghanaian Nationals for the post of Human Resource Assistant (General Service Category).<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>VN No.:<\/strong>\u00a0VN-11-33<br \/>\n<strong>IMIS #:<\/strong>\u00a0Temporary Appointment<br \/>\n<strong>Type of Contract:<\/strong>\u00a0Temporary Fixed Term (TA)<br \/>\n<strong>Post Level:\u00a0<\/strong>GS-6<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:\u00a0<\/strong>1 year (364 days)<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Manager, assists in the management of human resources in UNICEF Accra and Tamale Sub Office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interprets and applies HR policies<\/li>\n<li>Reviews contractual status, within grade increment and monitors the completion of performance evaluation reports<\/li>\n<li>Maintains and updates Annual Leave records for all staff<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the recruitment of staff including evaluating candidates applications<\/li>\n<li>Processes entitlements and maintains various personnel records and files<\/li>\n<li>Develops and organises orientation of new staff members<\/li>\n<li>Prepares correspondence, special reports, evaluations and justifications, as required, on general human resource or specialized tasks that may be of a confidential nature within assigned area of responsibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in human resources management, business administration or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Language Proficiency:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluency in English required.
