We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Stockroom\/Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all of the operations in our stockroom. This person will play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Stockroom\/Warehouse Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Key accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain clear and organised records to ensure that all receipts, invoices, reports, and withdrawals related to the stockroom is filed and stored properly.<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Receive, unload, shelve supplies and verify that all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct inventory\u00a0audits to determine inventory levels and needs.<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, and labelling items;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Report delivery issues to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Rotate stock and coordinate the correct disposal of surpluses;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Manage close-to-expiry date stock;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store\u2019s area of operation;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor and take inventory on a regular basis to compile orders based on pal levels or needs;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Work closely with Purchasing to order and receive items and equipment;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Troubleshoot any\u00a0vendor delivery issues and oversee\/follow up on the return process;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels; and<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain inventory control.<\/p>\n Core skills and competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent written and verbal communication skills;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage time; and<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Skills to operate common office equipment.<\/p>\n Experience requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At least 4-6 years\u2019 experience in procurement;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent written and spoken English abilities;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.<\/p>\n Educational requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 BA degree or similar in engineering, logistics, business administration, business management, commerce or any other relevant field.<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3+ years of experience in a supervisory\/management role in a stockroom\/warehouse or in inventory control.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Stockroom\/Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all of the operations in our stockroom.
