This person will perform analytical, technical, and administrative work in the planning and installation of new and existing personal devices and workstations; and diagnosing and resolving of problems in response to reported incidents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Information Technology Support Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist employees with the installation of software and maintenance of laptops, PCs, printers, desk phones and other electronic equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Perform monitoring on all network, server, application, security and infrastructure configuration items;<\/li>\n<li>Perform scheduled maintenance activities and tasks such as antivirus, operating systems and other software updates, user client maintenance and the others;<\/li>\n<li>Notify status of incidents to internal and external contacts;<\/li>\n<li>Consistent evaluation of IT systems to ensure that they meet demands;<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with network administration tasks;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that data storage is safe, secure and up to date;<\/li>\n<li>Resolving all issues staff have with their company IT systems and software;<\/li>\n<li>Preventative maintenance;<\/li>\n<li>Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the day-to-day operations of the hotel\u2019s computer and WIFI networks; and<\/li>\n<li>Managing patch management, antivirus and backup units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills;<\/li>\n<li>Keen attention to detail;<\/li>\n<li>Good organization, time management and prioritization abilities;<\/li>\n<li>Efficient troubleshooting capabilities;<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Great customer service and interpersonal prowess;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of LAN\/WAN\/Security and related technologies; and<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Server systems, Operating Systems and Storage architecture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3-5 years\u2019 experience in a System and Network Support Specialist position; and<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree or similar in computer science, electronics engineering, information technology, computer engineering, or any equivalent or related department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist to manage all IT related processes at the hotel and Safari.
