Perseus Mining (Ghana) Limited (PMGL) has recently commissioned the world-class Edikan gold project in the Western Region of Ghana. Edikan Gold Mine (EGM) has a current mining reserve of 3.3M oz of gold from a resource base of 4.3M oz. The Edikan processing facility has been designed as a 5.5Mtpa processing facility with the ability to expand this to 8Mtpa in the future. The plant is capable of producing at a rate of 220-270,000oz gold<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position will be based at the Edikan Mine and at times may be required to travel to Perth, Australia. This position reports directly to the Deputy General Manager\/Production Manager.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The role of the Senior\u00a0Project Engineer within the Production team is focused on delivery of the Edikan processing plant debottlenecking\/expansion on behalf of the operation.<\/li>\n<li>The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for\u00a0ensuring all requirements\u00a0of the site operational team are met in the design of the expansion as well as\u00a0administer the contract on site for the design and construction of the\u00a0expansion scope of work.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0Senior Project Engineer will also act as a technical resource for the processing operations team in addition\u00a0to coordination of the\u00a0expansion project\u00a0play a major role in\u00a0the development and administration of the change management process within this team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The role is offered on a rostered basis, either 10 days on\/4 days off or 15 days on\/6 days off with travel to point of hire covered by the company.
