{"id":64373,"date":"2022-01-19T12:48:51","date_gmt":"2022-01-19T12:48:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=64373"},"modified":"2022-01-19T12:48:51","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T12:48:51","slug":"west-african-examinations-council-waec-recruitment-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/west-african-examinations-council-waec-recruitment-2022.html","title":{"rendered":"West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Recruitment 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Officer I (Assistant Registrar I)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties among others in the Procurement Department:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing the procurement plan and supervise its implementation;<\/li>\n<li>Managing the procurement procedure for goods, works and services;<\/li>\n<li>Participating in preparation of annual budget;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating international transactions, establish letters of credit and clear goods from the ports;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the effective management of contracts and asset disposal;<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking supplier development activities and providing inputs for the formulation of policies and plans of the Council;<\/li>\n<li>Managing the human and material resources of the department.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that procurement is undertaken within the framework of the law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Academic Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Procurement and Supply or Bachelor of Commerce (Minimum, Second Class Lower). Any additional certification in a relevant area will be an added advantage.
