Key project activities include increasing access to agricultural finance, promoting investment, strengthening local institutions, improving agricultural productivity and expanding market access and trade in Northern Ghana.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>We are seeking specialists in the following areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agricultural finance<\/li>\n<li>Investment promotion and facilitation<\/li>\n<li>Business development services to enhance enterprises performance<\/li>\n<li>Value chain strengthening<\/li>\n<li>Market linkages for staple crops<\/li>\n<li>Producer organisation development<\/li>\n<li>Commodity specific expertise in maize, soya, rice and livestock<\/li>\n<li>Input supply &#8211; seeds, fertilizer, agricultural mechanization<\/li>\n<li>Post-harvest handling, storage and processing<\/li>\n<li>Regional trade of agricultural commodities<\/li>\n<li>Policy development &#8211; finance, trade and agriculture, including agric research<\/li>\n<li>Nutrition<\/li>\n<li>Gender integration<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Grants management and project financial management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree in agriculture or business-related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in successful delivery of technical assistance<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience with USAID projects highly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience working collaboratively with the Government of Ghana<\/li>\n<li>At least 6 years experience achieving results in relevant technical field<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send CV and cover letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ghanarecruit@chemonics.com\">ghanarecruit@chemonics.com<\/a>.
