\n\u2022 Planning, implementing and evaluating effective internal audit system for all financial and non-financial transactions of the service
\n\u2022 Developing and implementing policies and procedures in conformity with internal auditing standards to guide internal auditing of the service
\n\u2022 Developing and executing an annual risk-based audit plan, reports on risk-based audit assignments carried out in order to determine the priorities of the audit activities, consistent with the service goals
\n\u2022 Planning, controlling and directing activities of the internal audit department
\n\u2022 Conducting specific investigations into alleged cases of financial impropriety and any other such matters on the initiative of the Department or as may be referred to the Department
\n\u2022 Planning and overseeing the performance of internal audit review prepare and submit periodic audit report for the attention of the Chief Justice, Audit Committee and the Judicial Council
\n\u2022 Supervising the conduct systems in the Service are adhered to.
\n\u2022 Adopting and maintaining the Department\u2019s quality assurance and improvement programme for internal and external reviews developed by the internal audit agency
\n\u2022 Determining the extent of coordination of audit effort with external auditors to avoid duplication and ensuring that plans are shared, working papers are reviewed by both parties and periodic meetings are held
\n\u2022 Overseeing the work and performance of audit functions at all the Regional Internal Audit Offices<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A professional Qualification (ICA, ACCA, CIMA)
\n\u2022 Should have broad knowledge in Internal Regulations and Policies, legislative regulatory framework, financial systems control
\n\u2022 Should have analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 Should have the ability to interact with top management of other institutions and agencies
\n\u2022 Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022 Should have exceptional interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
