This position is well-suited for an individual who would like to gain experience in financial accounting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive and review petty cash reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.<\/li>\n<li>Enter advance and reconciliation details into the IPA cashbook using excel.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver payment to vendors, utility companies, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Collect and deliver mail and packages.<\/li>\n<li>Provide administrative support to the Tamale Office Manager so as to ensure that all records are properly maintained.<\/li>\n<li>The accounts assistant will perform other administrative and clerical duties as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We require a minimum of one year experience in an administrative or accounts support role. Experience with non-governmental organizations in Ghana is preferred. Excellent English skills, a high level of computer literacy, attention to detail, and someone outgoing and determined is required.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet\/Email is required.
