Dispatching complex and oversised goods to national and international destinations<\/li>\n<li>Managing, monitoring and developing a team of drivers and line managers<\/li>\n<li>Involved in strategic development and marketing of new business areas<\/li>\n<li>Making sure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced<\/li>\n<li>Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Appraising staff performance and also taking disciplinary measures when required<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all site and customer objectives are achieved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of HND or a first degree in a related field preferably engineering<\/li>\n<li>A professional qualification from the chartered institute of Logistics and Transport would be an added advantage. Must have at least 5 years experience in related function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Energetic, innovative and dynamic transport manager who has a proven track record in managing a highly commercial operations in a fact- paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Must have a good understanding of all areas of the supply chain.
