It is looking for as strong executive level professional, with a sound financial and risk management background, to manage its credit, generation, evaluation and disbursement. If you are business-minded and have a proven record of managing credit risk across regional boarders, then we would like to talk to you on behalf of our client in respect of the position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The position holder will have the following duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money;<\/li>\n<li>Gathering and analysing credit information on current and potential borrowers and determining the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit including customer evaluation reports and recommended payment plans based on cash flow analysis;<\/li>\n<li>Conferring with credit associations and other business representatives to exchange credit information;<\/li>\n<li>Completing loan applications, credit analyses and summaries of loan requests and submitting to loan committees for approval;<\/li>\n<li>Generating financial ratios to evaluate customer&#8217; financial status;<\/li>\n<li>Comparing liquidity, profitability and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations;<\/li>\n<li>Consulting with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions;<\/li>\n<li>Analysing financial data such as income growth, quality of management and market share to determine expected profitability of loans;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that credit facilities are handled using the credit procedures and policies in place;<\/li>\n<li>Developing strategic goals and plans for the Credit Department, preparing annual budget and projections for the Credit Department;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and submitting annual quarterly and monthly reports in a timely manner. Reviewing credit reports prepared by Credit Officers for submission to Credit Committee for approval;<\/li>\n<li>Organizing in-house training for Credit Officers and evaluating the performance of Credit Officers;<\/li>\n<li>Developing credit products for the Bank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note that the post is based in Monrovia, Liberia<br \/>\n<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a Masters Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
