{"id":6526,"date":"2012-01-03T01:19:06","date_gmt":"2012-01-03T01:19:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=6526"},"modified":"2016-11-17T11:16:19","modified_gmt":"2016-11-17T11:16:19","slug":"winrock-international-vacancies-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/winrock-international-vacancies-2012.html","title":{"rendered":"Winrock International Vacancies 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Winrock International is a US based international non-governmental organisation that works with people in the United States and around the world to empower the disadvantaged, increase economic opportunity and sustain natural resources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Winrock seeks to employ two\u00a0<strong>drivers\u00a0<\/strong>for a period of one (1) year to maintain Winrock project vehicles.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Ashanti or Western and Greater Accra Regions, Ghana<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nReports:<\/strong>\u00a0Ghana Country Coordinator<\/p>\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive project vehicles for project related activities<\/li>\n<li>Complete daily paper work including Vehicle Inspection Report and Driver Log Book<\/li>\n<li>Perform daily safety and maintenance checks<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the vehicles are in good working order and report on any malfunctions<\/li>\n<li>Observe all vehicle driving regulations as required by the law<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the safety of the vehicle while on duty<\/li>\n<li>Attend staff meetings as designated<\/li>\n<li>Any other responsibility as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration:\u00a0<\/strong>Commensurate with relevant qualification and experience<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum qualification of BECE or MLSC Certificate<\/li>\n<li>At least a minimum of five (5) years corporate or private driving experience<\/li>\n<li>Background in auto repaired and maintenance will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Valid Ghanaian Drivers License with minimum of class C<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take initiative and work well under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Must be a team player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants with requisite qualification(s) should send detailed Curriculum vitae (CV) together with two (2) references, copy of driver&#8217;s license, and copies of relevant certificates to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Wiemployment@yahoo.com\">Wiemployment@yahoo.com<\/a>\u00a0or to the address below:<\/p>\n<div>\n<strong>Winrock International<br \/>\nNsenie Street, Adum<br \/>\n(On top of Akropong Farms\/Opposite Nurom Hotel Annex 2)<br \/>\nP.
