The property has 269 luxury rooms (largest room size in Accra), 24 suites, a variety of F&amp;B offerings as well as large conference facilities and the largest SPA in West Africa (opening soon), a perfect mix of categories to meet the needs of both corporate and conference visitors to the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job\u00a0 Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Kitchen Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide administrative &amp; secretarial support for the Executive Chef &amp; Kitchen Managers. Ensure all work is carried out in line with the hotel\u2019s guidelines, the departmental business plan, and Kempinski Hotels, corporate guidelines, and service concepts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To manage and be responsible for all department\u2019s documentation (i.e.) control charts, kitchen associates files.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the filing system in the Executive Chef\u2019s office is orderly maintained &amp; kept secure.<\/li>\n<li>Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a professional manner. Attend all kitchen meetings to write minutes and distribute them.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains sufficient quantities of office supplies for kitchen needs.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor all appointments, meetings, and training schedules, to ensure that the due date is met.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains the copies of banquet event order cost sheets on a monthly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with the kitchen tools and materials being used by kitchen staff.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all typing and translation for kitchen needs.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the accurate adjustment to the payroll for kitchen staff.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with the organization of associates\u2019 meetings and functions.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any reasonable request made of management that is not life-threatening or against the law.<\/li>\n<li>Management reserves the right to make changes to this job description at its sole discretion and without advance notice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills And Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in an F&amp;B kitchen role<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written skills<\/li>\n<li>Additional language \u2013 beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as part of a team, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions<\/li>\n<li>Good written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Applying a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times<\/li>\n<li>Working in a safe, prudent and organized manner<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of menu planning and food presentation<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity and knowledge of all departments within the hotel<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Presents ideas and information in a concise, well-organized manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Kempinski<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hoteliers since 1897, we have travelled the world in search of the most fascinating destinations without ever forgetting the finest traditions of our European heritage.
