{"id":65734,"date":"2022-03-14T11:35:45","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T11:35:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=65734"},"modified":"2022-03-14T11:35:45","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T11:35:45","slug":"anglogold-ashanti-ghana-limited-recruitment-2022-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/anglogold-ashanti-ghana-limited-recruitment-2022-4.html","title":{"rendered":"AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited Recruitment 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (IDUAPRIEM) LIMITED (A subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti Limited)\u00a0<\/b>operate the combine Teberebie and Iduapriem open-pits gold mines at Tarkwa in the Western Region of Ghana and has a work force of over 1400, including contractors.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from ambitious, energetic and performance driven individuals to fill in a vacant position(s) mentioned below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position:\u00a0 <\/strong><b>Plant Metallurgist \u00a0 \u2013 Fixed Term Contract<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Grade: Stratum <b>I<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Department:\u00a0 Processing<\/p>\n<p>Number of Position(s):\u00a0 One (1)<\/p>\n<p><b>Role Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Plant Metallurgist role is responsible for monitoring metallurgical parameters and providing technical advice to the operational team.<\/p>\n<p><b>Role Accountabilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Conduct weekly conveyor belt cut and weight meter calibration as well as silting test<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct daily tanks profiles (three times) on every shift as well as daily scats rates for all mills, measure ball charge and record results.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor lime, steel balls and lead nitrate addition to achieve optimum levels.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and ensure the smooth performance of oxygen plant, cyanide sparging facility, TAC 1000 cyanide analyzer and WAD cyanide analyzer.<\/li>\n<li>Control soluble losses exiting the CIL circuit to achieve less than 0.006ppm<\/li>\n<li>Control leach parameters to achieve solid residue exiting the CIL circuit of less than 0.070g\/t<\/li>\n<li>Supervise daily plant sampling activities in CIL plant and ensure smooth submission to assay laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical advice to both Production and Metallurgical team<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Gold \u2013In- Circuit (GIC) on the last day of every production month.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct daily quick sizing on cyclone overflows to determine the instantaneous grind.<\/li>\n<li>Calibrate handy and online pH and dissolve oxygen meters daily.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective carbon management in CIL tanks to control soluble losses.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct daily metallurgical accounting inputs and produce daily reports.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Research &amp;
