To lead the management of the distributor and with respect to infrastructure, process, and overall operations to ensure outstanding implementation channel specific of brand\/category and POP vision, while ensuring agreed ROI and distribution objectives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Territory Manager, Ophiasare<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Distributor Management:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the impact of geographic, demographic factors on retail environment and assess customer and channel attractiveness<\/li>\n<li>Carry out strategies formulated by line manager in assigned area.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in determination of channel priorities based on brand\/channel objectives and implement action plans<\/li>\n<li>Interpret findings shopper insight into local context \/ activity and identify trends, provide inputs to category managers to identify new opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities and develop a business plan by distributor aligning with company sales plan\/strategy<\/li>\n<li>Monitor customer for achievement of target and maintenance of agreed ROI and suggest alternatives.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationships with key customers in the area<\/li>\n<li>Understand the POP vision by channel and evaluate quality of implantation and suggest \/ drive corrective action.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse category \/ brand \/ SKU performance and prepare customer specific sales plan to achieve brand objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor implementation of channel specific activities and report performance. Take initiative for improving efficacy.<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations to improve availability, visibility (initiatives at distributor end)<\/li>\n<li>Roll out and monitor visibility improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Manage resources such as Distributors, distributor managers, Sales representatives and 3P\u2019s (Merchandising)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership &amp; Team Management<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Motivate and leads the team and activates relevant network to assist in achievement of objectives. Ensures implementation of appropriate company guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and train your team, distributor operation managers and the distributor sales representatives.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities and develop a business plan by distributor each year<\/li>\n<li>Help team identify resources and infrastructure gaps and correcting them by monitoring implementation of business plan, volume, value, growth, infrastructure, and resources.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend capability development initiatives through coaching, sharing best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Review teams target against performance aligning with Regional Sales Manager<\/li>\n<li>Identify, plan and implement actions to assist in performance improvement of team through coaching, guidance, delegation, recommendation to training, projects etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Interface<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Internal<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CD Director, CD Excellence &amp; Ops, CD Leadership Team, Assigned Territory Manager(s), CD Business Partners (HR, Finance, Supply Chain), CD Capability Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>External<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Key Distributor &amp; Team<\/li>\n<li>3rd Party consultants, Agencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Relevant Experience And Key Skills<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in sales. FMCG experience is desirable<\/li>\n<li>University Graduate (Post graduate qualification is Optional)<\/li>\n<li>Organizational awareness \u2013 Understand unilever tools and best practices<\/li>\n<li>Experienced Leading teams<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment both F2F and virtually.<\/li>\n<li>IT skills, Excel, PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Team Building &amp; Alignment<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative \u2013 works with CD leadership Teams, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Organised \u2013 Anticipates needs and issues<\/li>\n<li>Talent building \u2013 spot and nurture talent<\/li>\n<li>Efficient \u2013 Resource management and Project Planning<\/li>\n<li>Professional skills in learning &amp; Program management (learning)<\/li>\n<li>Change management<\/li>\n<li>Communication &amp; Presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Coaching, Teaching and Training abilities<\/li>\n<li>Leadership Capabilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership Behaviours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Should be an inspirational leader, able to engage and motivate others, and lead by example.
