{"id":66601,"date":"2022-04-20T16:03:35","date_gmt":"2022-04-20T16:03:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=66601"},"modified":"2022-04-20T16:03:35","modified_gmt":"2022-04-20T16:03:35","slug":"driver-vehicle-and-licensing-authority-dvla-vacancies-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/driver-vehicle-and-licensing-authority-dvla-vacancies-2022.html","title":{"rendered":"Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) Vacancies 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 To provide leadership and technical direction for the performance of the Authority\u2019s finance functions<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Director, Finance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensures the preparation of periodic financial reports of the Authority.<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead in the sourcing of funding to improve the revenue base of DVLA<br \/>\n\u2022 Advise on revenue mobilization and management<br \/>\n\u2022 Coordinate the provision of material and financial resources to support the activities of the Authority<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure the collation and production of the annual budget of the Authority<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor and control the flow of cash receipts and disbursements to meet the business and investment needs of the Authority<br \/>\n\u2022 Advise management on prudent financial practices<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee the administration and supervision of work in the Department<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure the implementation of programs, plans, and activities of the Department<br \/>\n\u2022 Establish and review standards and guidelines for the financial activities of the Authority<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise the compilation of annual and other periodic reports for the Department<br \/>\n\u2022 Appraise the performance of the subordinate staff of the Department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A minimum of a Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, Commerce Option) or other related disciplines from a recognized tertiary institution<br \/>\n\u2022 A Chartered Accountant of ICA GH, ACCA, or any relevant and recognized professional accounting body<br \/>\n\u2022 A minimum of ten (10) years post qualification relevant work experience, five (5) years of which must be in a senior management position in a reputable organization<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Good knowledge of financial, procurement and auditing, and labor regulations<br \/>\n\u2022 Organizational Development and Change Management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conversant with relevant Accounting Finance systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Computing and Financial Resource Management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Negotiating, Diplomacy, Lobbying, and sourcing of funds<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of Public Administration and Public Policy Analysis.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, report writing, and presentation skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of project and programs management<br \/>\n\u2022 High integrity and ethics.<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of Public Financial Management laws and regulations<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Accra<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply For The Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should send a cover letter and CV by email to the address provided below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>recruitment@dvla.gov.gh<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mail to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Manager, Resourcing, Learning &amp;
