Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Auto Electrician<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 This position is responsible for all preventative, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance on underground mobile equipment and vehicles (light vehicles and heavy mobile equipment) and drills electrical fault and failure diagnostics as guided by your immediate supervisor and trainer.<\/p>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Carry out scheduled electrical service work on light vehicles and mobile machinery in a safe manner and in accordance with the service sheet. \n\u2022 Utilize skill and experience to create minimum downtime on machinery and maximize productivity
\n\u2022 Carry out all repairs in accordance with AUMS procedures
\n\u2022 Complete all service sheets and document additional repairs completed during servicing
\n\u2022 Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the workshop and working areas at all times
\n\u2022 Read and interpret Service and Spare parts manuals
\n\u2022 Advise the workshop supervisors of parts used and any additional part requirements.
\n\u2022 Ensure all work is done in a safe and efficient manner.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Minimum of three years\u2019 experience on underground machines
\n\u2022 Inspecting Mincom Auto-Electrical Engineering Certificate is an added advantage
\n\u2022 Ability to read schematics, understand maintenance procedures and operate all types of hand tools
\n\u2022 A high degree of skill in troubleshooting and fault finding with previous experience in Vehicle Air conditioning systems.
\n\u2022 Ability to analyze equipment failure and use equipment diagnostics tools
\n\u2022 Auto electrical experience on 4WD vehicles.
\n\u2022 Heavy Mine Mobile Equipment electrical systems maintenance experience.
\n\u2022 Willingness to learn to improve skills and gain further experience with mobile equipment
\n\u2022 Valid Driving license C\/E
\n\u2022 Must be a good and effective communicator
\n\u2022 Basic knowledge of First Aid
\n\u2022 Ability to follow instructions in accordance with AUMS protocols, standards, and policies to ensure all EHS&T operational and compliance requirements are met<\/p>\n
