{"id":66665,"date":"2022-04-21T15:53:03","date_gmt":"2022-04-21T15:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=66665"},"modified":"2022-04-21T15:53:03","modified_gmt":"2022-04-21T15:53:03","slug":"puma-energy-jobs-2022-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/puma-energy-jobs-2022-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Puma Energy Jobs 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Conducting regular inspections and ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of a facility.<br \/>\nEnsuring the proper working of all electrical units and systems in the facility.<br \/>\nLeading a team of subordinates and delegating work areas to them.<br \/>\nKeeping a record of all the day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in a facility.<br \/>\nEvaluating the performance of the subordinates.<br \/>\nComplying with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while carrying out maintenance functions.<br \/>\nPlacing orders for spare parts and equipment for replacement and ascertaining the proper documentation of the same.<br \/>\nSynchronizing work processes with other departments of the establishment.<br \/>\nRecruiting maintenance personnel<\/p>\n<p>Effective site installation support, QaQc checks and inspection etc.<\/p>\n<p>Effective supervision of subcontractor installation works and activities.<\/p>\n<p>Provide short term and long term depot maintenance plans and schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare requisition for spare parts items to be purchased after evaluation of their actual needs based on inventory and records.<\/p>\n<p>Assist in monitoring, control and reporting of budget and expenses.<\/p>\n<p><b>HSSE<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The (MS) must be HSSE minded and work safely at all times.<\/li>\n<li>The (MS) must acknowledge that Working Safely is a condition of Employment, and conduct his activities in accordance with that.<\/li>\n<li>The (MS) must strictly adhere to the PUMA Rules for Operators.<\/li>\n<li>The (MS) must be fully conversant and comply with all company and legal HSSE requirements which apply to his activities.<\/li>\n<li>The (MS) must report all unsafe acts and conditions and near misses to his \/ her Supervisor at all times.<\/li>\n<li>The (MS) works within a team and therefore his actions and behaviors will impact on others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PERSON SPECIFICATION<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Competencies:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>The Ability to effectively manage time and lead a team of subordinates.<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational and administrative skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft packages \u2013 Excel, Microsoft Projects etc., AutoCAD, PDMS \/other pipeline engineering software<\/li>\n<li>Conversant with international codes and standards such as BS codes and API codes<\/li>\n<li>Strong inter \u2013 personal records and working relationships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Education and Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or an Associate\u2019s degree or diploma in mechanical or civil engineer.<\/li>\n<li>2 to 3 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor\/manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication<\/li>\n<li>Excellent planning and organization skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to handle fast moving and high-pressure customer facing environment<\/li>\n<li>Conflict handling skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to prioritize work tasks<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Customer Service oriented<\/li>\n<li>Quick learner<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and detail-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Quality Management System Compliance<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comply and support the Quality Management system in all aspects of your role.<\/li>\n<li>Adopt and implement the principles of continuous improvement in all aspects of your role.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the awareness of customer requirements (internal &amp; external) are promoted throughout the business.<\/li>\n<li>Review, monitor and provide feedback on the effectiveness of the quality management system.<\/li>\n<li>Engage, support and continuously improve communication processes that support the quality management system and provide positive outcomes for the business, customers and key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Workplace Health &amp;
