The role utilizes knowledge of Old Mutual\u2019s policy administration \/ product \/ process to resolve technical and complex problems, usually in support of administrative queries \/ issues. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts and others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Distribution Support \u2013 Bancassurance<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Duties<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role functions as a subject matter expert in a specific field of policy administration \/ product \/ process.<\/li>\n<li>Often acts as a point of escalation for matters with higher level of complexity than those handled by Administration Specialists.<\/li>\n<li>Often acts as a consultant with decision making of operational and or tactical importance (premium collections for new and existing policies, claims administration, customer retention etc).<\/li>\n<li>This role functions as a coordinator with all Ecobank branches and shares report on all new business submissions.<\/li>\n<li>This role functions as a coordinator with Ecobank on premium deductions for new and existing business.<\/li>\n<li>Could act as an expert resource on major projects or could be accountable for the delivery of projects within the Business Unit.<\/li>\n<li>This role functions as a coordinator with Ecobank to facilitate the processing of claims, surrender\/withdrawals and customer complaints.<\/li>\n<li>May act as a coach for Ecobank Specialist Staff on policy administration and Life Insurance in general.<\/li>\n<li>Provides strong support role to the Old Mutual BU Executive.<\/li>\n<li>Build key relationships with branch operations teams.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in channel distribution support roles at Old Mutual.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Result Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Client Service Delivery<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engages regularly with Ecobank branches to address service related concerns as to strengthen existing relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Takes responsibility for the delivery of superior service to clients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Effectiveness<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of 3 months.<\/li>\n<li>Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.<\/li>\n<li>Accepts and lives the company values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Relationship Building<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages relationship with the Ecobank BU and Ecobank branches to improve operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quality Assurance<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs quality checks on own work<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to service and quality standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sales Support \/Sales Productivity<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Takes responsibility of supporting field sales team to achieve BU sales targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Technical Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Execution<\/li>\n<li>Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Initiating Action<\/li>\n<li>Information Monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Distribution Support (Reporting, Productivity Management and Relationship Management with Partners)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience Required<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited Tertiary institution.<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years working experience in a similar role would be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent MS Office Suite skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Relationship Management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role is responsible for co-ordinating between Old Mutual and Ecobank on all New Business On-Boarding, Claims, Surrender\/ Withdrawal and Customer Complaints from Ecobank branches.
