Then this may be the opportunity for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Electrical\/Mechanical Technician \u2013 Asset Care<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the role<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work safely within the Operations team<\/li>\n<li>Provide maintenance and continuous improvement skills to deliver and improve on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, cost and asset care.<\/li>\n<li>Effective use of maintenance systems data<\/li>\n<li>Observe and ensure compliance to safe systems of work<\/li>\n<li>Completion of Preventative maintenance activities<\/li>\n<li>Deliver and improve performance targets in safety, quality, service, cost and asset care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At all times enforce to Diageo health and safety, environmental and food safety standards, and work to all applicable legislative procedures. Responsible for Safe Systems of work.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and organised workplace environment through consistency to the Safety and 5S MMS practices<\/li>\n<li>Provide Asset Care Technician resource (electrical and mechanical) to the Operations team<\/li>\n<li>Accountable to ensure all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are carried out at the defined frequency and completed to the required standard.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor operators to perform autonomous maintenance tasks, machine set ups optimisation and support growth in equipment capability as required.<\/li>\n<li>Support capital work, including installation, commissioning and testing within area as required. Responsible for feeding into early equipment management.<\/li>\n<li>Make full use of SAP \u2013 SAP reporting &amp; recording completion.<\/li>\n<li>Review RCM activity on a weekly basis<\/li>\n<li>Understands and uses MMS principles tools and techniques, giving positively to MMS ITFs<\/li>\n<li>Manage personal data in Workday e.g. P4G and personal details (specific responsibilities to be clarified)<\/li>\n<li>Attend and contribute to SIC process. Complete short interval control documentation on activities.<\/li>\n<li>Raise 5 why\u2019s as defined by agreed trigger points. Work with Operators and team leaders to play a proactive role in situational problem solving on shift. Fixing problems and finding solutions via RCPS<\/li>\n<li>Participate in line improvement projects, a skills &amp; experience allow<\/li>\n<li>Engage in start of shift meetings and performance-based team meetings to raise and address persistent performance issues.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in weekly asset care review meetings<\/li>\n<li>Anticipate issues and be more proactive in approach<\/li>\n<li>Support TLS &amp; Operators to build asset care and RCPS capability<\/li>\n<li>Attend all Tier 1 meetings, contribute to the agenda and complete actions as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Entry level requirements \u2013 skills and experience<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A qualified time served trade (Electrical or Mechanical) or local equivalent is essential<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years work experience in an operations environment<\/li>\n<li>Relevant IBD qualification (General Certificate in Spirits\/Beer Packaging) or willing to complete<\/li>\n<li>National Certificate level qualification or equivalent within an FMCG industry<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of HnD in Mechanical\/Electrical engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience \u2013 Essential<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Numerical\/verbal reasoning, Computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Asset Performance and maintenance philosophy with excellent Process Improvement and root cause problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Multiskilled or willing to become<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work autonomously<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team and be an effective team member, good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Has strength of character to challenge poor team behaviours and non-adherence to standards<\/li>\n<li>Surfaces problems, doesn\u2019t hide them<\/li>\n<li>Is an ambassador for Manufacturing Excellence and continuous improvement<\/li>\n<li>Responds to change in a positive and flexible manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of risk standards (Quality \/ H&amp;S \/ Environment) Safety and hygiene compliance procedures<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of SAP, Harford<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From Arthur Guinness to Johnnie Walker, our business was founded on people of great character, and in 250 years, nothings changed.
