We want talent that is looking for fast career growth, cross-functional experiences, global exposure and robust training &amp; development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Communications Specialist\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives of the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To work with the Legal and Corporate Affairs Lead and Heads of Departments to develop and deliver communications strategies for the organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation<\/li>\n<li>Research and write press releases, and content for the company website, infographics, blogs, and newsletters<\/li>\n<li>Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company\u2019s policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up to date with relevant developments<\/li>\n<li>Arrange and coordinate press conferences, and plan events.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to the company\u2019s style guide, ensuring that we produce a high-quality and error-free copy<\/li>\n<li>Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company\u2019s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationships with journalists and key external role-players<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field (essential)<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in communications strategy development (essential)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools<\/li>\n<li>Content writing experience for all media platforms<\/li>\n<li>Proven social media and networking expertise<\/li>\n<li>Strategic and creative mindset<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>A portfolio of work available for review<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AB InBev is an equal opportunity employer and all appointments will be made in-line with AB InBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
