{"id":6742,"date":"2012-01-19T11:07:45","date_gmt":"2012-01-19T11:07:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=6742"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:09:48","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:09:48","slug":"global-responses-initiative-glori-recruitment-2012-finance-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/global-responses-initiative-glori-recruitment-2012-finance-officer.html","title":{"rendered":"Global Responses Initiative (GLORI) Recruitment 2012: Finance Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Global Responses Initiative (GLORI) is a Registered Non-Governmental Non-profit making organization dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of individuals, organizations and communities to improve on their health and social circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>The International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour-Cocoa Community Project (IPEC\/CCP) is an International Labour Organization\u00a0 Programme being implemented by four Implementing agencies in 4 district of which Global Responses Initiative is the implementing agency for the Wassa Amenfi West District of Ghana..<\/p>\n<p>The Programme applies an integrated-area-based approach, involving strategic service delivery on a participatory scale to support its advocacy work with the aim of eliminating child labour in its operational area \u2013 4 Cocoa growing districts in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>The Programme works in the areas of Education, Children\u2019s rights monitoring and protection, sanitation, Community-based Networks, Child protection, Youth Empowerment and Employment, with the overarching focus of civil society strengthening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Finance Officer shall report to the Finance and Administration Manager and his\/her duties will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of vouchers and data recording of the financial transactions of through the general ledger<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the integrity of financial information<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of bank reconciliation statements<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of cash forecasts &amp;
