{"id":67542,"date":"2022-05-20T14:09:11","date_gmt":"2022-05-20T14:09:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=67542"},"modified":"2022-05-20T14:09:11","modified_gmt":"2022-05-20T14:09:11","slug":"ghana-center-for-democratic-development-cdd-ghana-vacancies-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/ghana-center-for-democratic-development-cdd-ghana-vacancies-2022.html","title":{"rendered":"Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) Vacancies 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Position Title:\u00a0<\/strong>Digital Content Officer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Unit:<\/strong>\u00a0Communication<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department:<\/strong>\u00a0Research, Programs and Advocacy<\/p>\n<p><strong>Full-Time:\u00a0<\/strong>One Year<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties to Be Performed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design digital media campaigns aligned with Organizational goals<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g., social media posts, website, blogs, press releases, and podcasts)<\/li>\n<li>Manage end-to-end digital projects<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a strong online Organizational voice through social media<\/li>\n<li>Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase the Organization\u2019s presence<\/li>\n<li>Monitor Return on Investment (ROI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<\/li>\n<li>Work with staff to accurately identify and share notable events and accomplishments<\/li>\n<li>Assist with monitoring overall media coverage of the Center to ensure accurate representation and information<\/li>\n<li>Assist with media previews ahead of significant projects and events<\/li>\n<li>Become an advocate for the Center in social media spaces, engaging in dialogue and answering questions as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Educate our diverse audience about the mission, vision, projects, and activities<\/li>\n<li>Produce professional live events on social media<\/li>\n<li>Generate social media engagement to stretch the marketing budget<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualification (s):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Communication\/Public Relations, Marketing or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Additional qualification in web design or animation is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Previous Experience Desired<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two years of experience in a social media position<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with media monitoring software such as Meltwater<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Special Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrable experience managing social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop sharp and compelling copy across channels<\/li>\n<li>Up-to-date on communications and digital industry standards and trends.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use social listening, measurement, and insights tools.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written communication<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and time management<\/li>\n<li>Able to collect and analyze numerical and written data and verbal information to reach logical conclusions and ability to determine the time, place, and sequence of operations or actions required<\/li>\n<li>Must be interested in governance and democracy related issues<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of statistics data aggregation and metrics<\/li>\n<li>Must be an independently self-motivated and team player<\/li>\n<li>Must have the ability to take constructive criticism and maintain a professional attitude.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and be willing to be on-call and work unusual times of day (early morning, after hours, holidays, weekends) will be required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit a CV and a one-page cover letter via email to<strong>\u00a0jobs@cddgh.org\u00a0<\/strong>and copy\u00a0<strong>s.fenny@cddgh.org<\/strong>.
