Some of our local brands have been in consumers\u2019 kitchens for over a century and have positioned themselves as authentically loved brands, as well as deeply rooted parts of the local culture.<\/p>\n<p>Today, with a turnover of around\u00a0<strong>1,2 billion euros<\/strong>\u00a0and a team of around\u00a0<strong>3,000 people<\/strong>, we are the preferred choice of millions of consumers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Industrial Performance Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Industrial Performance Manager ensures standard performance measurement across all factories in Africa, benchmarking and creating healthy competition amongst them while developing people capability and implementing projects and efficiency initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>S\/he carries out industrial engineering assignments of a broad nature while exercising considerable judgment and originality. The role requires working under minimum supervision in executing independent evaluation, selection and application of standard industrial engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using discernment and ingenuity in making minor adaptations and modifications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Result Areas<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform and summarize time studies and work sampling studies. Use other accepted forms of work measurement, as necessary to establish and\/or maintain standards. Establish manning requirements for direct and indirect jobs. Prepare engineering economic analysis of proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation and implementation of quarterly labor\/capacity reports and ensure proper application of \u2018Managing Manufacturing Performance\u2019. Compile and analyze standard data for direct and indirect labor.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate, identify, and eliminate efficiency losses, unplanned downtime events, and unfavorable\/favorable material variances. Act as technical support and challenger for defining and implementing sustainable change.<\/li>\n<li>Perform methods improvements and innovations by actively identifying performance gaps through benchmarking.<\/li>\n<li>Define initiatives in projects and reports that reduce labor, food, and packaging costs. Provide visibility of KPI improvements through statistical and applied mathematical analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate proposals and provide alternatives to increase productivity while ensuring continuous sustained improvement and first-time quality. Track, trend, and validate KPI results in reports for weekly, and monthly operational reviews.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do we expect from you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You must be self-motivated and assertive, with the ability to lead across many functions.
