and expectations of clients and the general public<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Deputy Director For Public Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Senior Communications Professional (Not below the rank of Principal) with postgraduate qualification (Masters or above) in Public Relations\/Communication Studies or related field and a minimum of 10 years working experience in the health sector, 5 years of which should be at senior management level or<br \/>\n\u2022 A bachelor\u2019s degree in public relations or communication studies with at least a postgraduate certificate in health communication and 15 years working experience in public relations\/corporate affairs in a supervisory position, 10 years of which should be at senior management level<br \/>\n\u2022 Membership of the institute of public relations, Ghana journalists association and\/or other relevant professional body may be an advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Evidence of leadership and continuing professional development and training in public relations management<br \/>\n\u2022 A broad knowledge base and experience of health sector policies and operating procedures<br \/>\n\u2022 Proven knowledge and expertise in public relations<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Applicants must note that:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 All positions are full time jobs based in Kumasi.<br \/>\n\u2022 Positions are top level appointments with a fixed term engagement<br \/>\n\u2022 Successful applicants shall remain staff of the Ministry of Health throughout the tenure<br \/>\n\u2022 Subsequent tenure will be through process approved by the assurance issues<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and team player<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work, lead and manage a multi-disciplinary player<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to organise workload and work under pressure to meet tight timelines and targets<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work on own initiative<br \/>\n\u2022 Good advocacy and negotiation skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Self-disciplined<br \/>\n\u2022 Emotionally stable<br \/>\n\u2022 Conflict management skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrate flexibility and a methodological
