Assist in the preparation of current financial reports and create forecasts growth. Must have a good verbal and written communication skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He\/she will be analyzing the expenses with a view to knowing cost of unit of output, to assist in resource allocation and product pricing.<\/p>\n<p>JOB TITLE:\u00a0 Assistant Finance Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location<\/strong>\u00a0: Accra \u2013 Adjen Kotoku<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of all financial and accounting reconciliations reports<\/li>\n<li>Review of all journals and posting of entries into the accounting System<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.<\/li>\n<li>Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.<\/li>\n<li>Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in internal and external audit coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct physical inventories and prepare periodic inventory reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective financial policies and procedures, as well as mitigating financial risks.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding in the use of ERP<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the International Financial Reporting System (IFRS), Accounting and Auditing Standards and related regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge\/understanding of tax laws and related regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organizing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Absolute confidentiality in handling\/dealing with information\/data.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of accounting software\/tools, Microsoft Excel, Word, Internet and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Supervisory and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCED<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce or Finance is required.<\/li>\n<li>Member of a professional accounting body preferably ICA (GH), ACCA or CIMA.<\/li>\n<li>Previous work experience in the capacity of Cost Accountant will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five (5) years relevant experience with 2 years in a senior management level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PURPOSE:\u00a0ACARP is currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager will assist the Finance Manager to direct and oversee the financial activities of the Company.
