Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Twifo Oil Palm Plantations Limited, an Agro Industrial Company in the Central Region, is looking for suitably qualified candidates for the position of Mechanical Engineering Technician.
\n<\/em>
\nJob Purpose:
\n<\/strong>Ensures that all Mechanical Maintenance activities including major maintenance\/repairs are dealt with timely and within prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • To carry out general maintenance and repairs of Oil Palm Processing plant which includes:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    1. Repairs and maintenance of Twin Screw Press and Digesters<\/li>\n
    2. Maintenance of Centrifuge Equipment<\/li>\n
    3. Servicing and fabrication of pumps (multiple and single stage centrifugal slurry and water pumps, vacuum pumps, etc)<\/li>\n
    4. Welding and fabrication of fans and impellers, storage tanks and processing equipment parts<\/li>\n
    5. Servicing and repairs to elevators and air compressors<\/li>\n
    6. Inspection, maintenance\/repairs to pressure vessels, etc)<\/li>\n
    7. Maintenance of crude palm and kernel oil tanks<\/li>\n
    8. Inspection and lubrication<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      • To assist in the installation of new equipment when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

         <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

        \n

        Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

          \n
        • Applicant must possess HND Mechanical Engineering Technician Part III with a minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience or Part II with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

           <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
