We help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith.<\/p>\n<p>Come join our 34,000+ staff working in nearly 100 countries and share the joy of transforming vulnerable children\u2019s life stories!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Employee Contract Type:<\/p>\n<p>Local \u2013 Temporary<\/p>\n<p>Job Description:<\/p>\n<p>The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for reporting to the accounts payable team lead for processing invoices and verification of invoices while delivering a high level of service that meets or exceeds the Service Level Agreement on behalf of World Vision (WV) SSC- Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>List statements describing the final results of this position and method of accomplishments, and how results\/performance are reviewed and measured.\u00a0 Begin with the most important accountabilities.<\/p>\n<p><b>% Time<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Major Activities<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>End Results Expected<\/b><\/p>\n<p>25%<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for processing supplier invoices) and processing (credit notes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to the laid down processes and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Responsible for create invoices pertaining to retentions, COD, Taxes as well as down payments for all countries as we \u2018Follow-the-Sun\u201d Strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Meet Service Level agreement with the National Office<\/p>\n<p>25%<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist internal and external Customers on AP related questions.<\/li>\n<li>Send invoices for bypass when necessary and on timely basis.<\/li>\n<li>Support in the execution of internal control procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meet Service Level agreement with the National Office<\/p>\n<p>25%<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help to clarify all doubts about audit related issues with Accounts Payable.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Invoice log sheets are constantly updated to keep track of balance sheet accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meet Service Level agreement with the National Office<\/p>\n<p>25%<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensue clear and adequate communications are sent to customers on invoices that are voided or rejected at the time of booking those invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Support in providing data to AP analyst for the preparation of weekly report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meet Service Level agreement with the National Office<\/p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES<\/p>\n<p>List education, knowledge &amp; skills, licenses preferred, and all experiences required to perform this position in a fully competent manner.<\/p>\n<p><b>Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>List\u00a0academic requirements (if applicable),\u00a0technical skills,\u00a0or\u00a0other knowledge\u00a0required as a minimum qualification for this position.<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u00b4s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance<\/p>\n<p>List additional\u00a0work experience\u00a0required as a minimum qualification for this position.<\/p>\n<p>At least 6 months\u2019 work experience<\/p>\n<p><b>License, registration, or certification required to perform this position:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If applicable, include\u00a0language requirement(s)\u00a0as a minimum qualification for this position.<\/p>\n<p>NA<\/p>\n<p><b>Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience<\/b><b>:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>List\u00a0academic requirements, technical skills or other knowledge\u00a0preferred for this position.<\/p>\n<p>Experienced in interfacing with business customers in defining procurement service requirements or procurement\/accounting information Broad based experience in accounting and financial systems Ability to work in a time sensitive environment<\/p>\n<p>List additional\u00a0work experience\u00a0preferred for this position.<\/p>\n<p>Experience in interfacing with business customers in resolving payment issues Knowledge of WV\u2019s policy and procedure in the area of finance, systems and products<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>Responsible for timely processing of supplier invoices ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures, tax law, and government requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With over 70 years of experience, our focus is on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life.
