These are hands-on roles, often outdoors and in demanding or harsh conditions \u2013 offshore on a North Sea oil rig or in the desert in west Africa \u2013 so you need to learn a range of tasks. Ultimately, you will be responsible for designing, executing and evaluating wellsite operations.<\/p>\n<p>For field engineer roles, we are typically seeking people who:<\/p>\n<p>have completed a four-year technical degree or Master&#8217;s within the past 24 months in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>applied sciences<\/li>\n<li>chemical engineering<\/li>\n<li>chemistry (organic or inorganic)<\/li>\n<li>civil engineering<\/li>\n<li>electrical engineering<\/li>\n<li>environmental engineering<\/li>\n<li>geology<\/li>\n<li>geosciences<\/li>\n<li>industrial engineering<\/li>\n<li>Instrumentation engineering<\/li>\n<li>mathematics<\/li>\n<li>mechanical engineering<\/li>\n<li>mechatronics<\/li>\n<li>petroleum engineering<\/li>\n<li>physics<\/li>\n<li>another engineering-related subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>are fluent in English (Level 5 on a global English test)<\/p>\n<p>have at least three of the following<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a minimum grade point average of 3.0\/4.0 (2.2) or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>relevant work experience<\/li>\n<li>evidence of practical, technical capability<\/li>\n<li>evidence of relevant extracurricular activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>have the legal right to work in the country in which you apply<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for people who are motivated and persistent, as well as resilient and adaptable. There are development programs in a range of disciplines, including<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>artificial lift<\/li>\n<li>completion systems<\/li>\n<li>coring<\/li>\n<li>drill bits<\/li>\n<li>drilling fluids<\/li>\n<li>drilling services<\/li>\n<li>integrated operations<\/li>\n<li>intelligent production systems<\/li>\n<li>formation evaluation<\/li>\n<li>pressure pumping<\/li>\n<li>reservoir navigation services<\/li>\n<li>sand control systems<\/li>\n<li>specialty chemicals<\/li>\n<li>surface logging services<\/li>\n<li>wellbore intervention<\/li>\n<li>wireline services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Developmental activities initially will focus on acquiring basic knowledge while working under supervision within one product line and will progress to working unsupervised with a broadening scope of knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prospects<\/strong><br \/>\nField engineers deliver services and information to help our clients locate, evaluate, and produce oil and gas reservoirs more efficiently.
